It's only been two weeks since closing our B3 round of funding, and here we are again sharing more exciting news around funding. We are pleased to announce an additional $60 million USD investment from SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Tiger Global, bringing the total amount invested to $290 million.

The news comes as a nice surprise for CertiK employees, and brings added encouragement on our mission to secure the Web3 world. Demand for industry-leading blockchain security continues to remain high in 2022. Such demand is fueled by an upward trend in major cryptocurrency hacks. Within just the first quarter of this year, the industry experienced over $1 billion in cryptocurrency losses due to four major bridge attacks, and over $200 million in various flash loan attacks.
CertiK’s addition of Softbank to the investor list is further validation of the importance of Web3 and blockchain security, and the growing problem around cryptocurrency hacks in this industry. SoftBank further amplified this statement, and our mission, through the following quote:
