Arbitrum Smart Contract Audits:

Layer 2 Blockchains Meet Next-Level Security

Arbitrum is a Layer 2 (L2) solution that enhances Ethereum by making transactions faster and cheaper. However, while L2 solutions boost transaction efficiency, they can also introduce complexity and new security considerations. Smart contract audits are key to tackling these challenges and safeguarding projects.

What is Arbitrum?

Arbitrum is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, aiming to provide greater scalability and lower transaction costs. It leverages optimistic rollups to batch multiple transactions into a single one, significantly reducing the load on the Ethereum network.

Users access the networks via the Arbitrum bridge. This facilitates the transfer of bridged assets between the Ethereum mainnet and the One and Nova L2s.

Recently, many users saw themselves the recipient of the Arbitrum airdrop. This distributed native $ARB tokens to early users of the network.

Through these initiatives and others, the Arbitrum Foundation is working towards creating a more scalable and user-friendly blockchain environment.

There are two main versions of the L2, Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova:

One utilizes multi-round optimistic rollups, which ensure reliable data validity on Layer 1.
Nova is based on AnyTrust technology and supported by a Data Availability Committee (DAC). It aims for ultra-low transaction fees, making it suitable for high-volume dApps. Both ensure cryptographic security akin to the Ethereum mainnet and are EVM-compatible, maintaining user control over funds.

We dive deep into the code, identifying vulnerabilities and providing strong solutions to enhance your project’s defense mechanisms.

How do Arbitrum Smart Contract Audits Work

The audit process kicks off with a detailed analysis of a project's entire codebase.

product audit process

Our experts spot potential security risks, logic issues, and areas for optimization. The outcome is a thorough report with detailed findings and steps for fixing the issues. We then work with projects to implement these recommendations. The final step is the delivery of the final audit report. After this, the project earns a rank on the Skynet Security Score Leaderboard.
